Farming Sim Luma Island Finally Lands on PS5

Feel Free Games says its farming and exploration game Luma Island is headed to PS5. The studio confirmed the port in a post on the PlayStation Blog, more than a year after the game showed up on PC in November 2024 and reportedly pulled in over 800,000 players there.

Here's what actually shows up on your screen: you get a busted-up caravan, a neglected farm, and a to-do list nobody's forcing you to follow. Grow crops, raise animals, pick from eight jobs, hatch magical creatures called Lumas. Standard cozy-game furniture, sure, but Feel Free Games is pitching it as the on-ramp, not the whole ride.

There's More Than a Farm Here

Wander off the property and the game apparently opens up into forests, mountains, jungles, caves stuffed with resources, and old temples full of puzzles and traps. There's a Pirate Cove too, with its own minigames. According to the studio, one afternoon of fishing and fence-mending can tip straight into a dungeon crawl if you feel like it, and the island is built so one distraction leads to the next.

That's the pitch, anyway. Whether it actually plays that loose or just funnels you down a checklist with nicer scenery is the kind of thing you only find out with a controller in your hand, not a blog post.

Difficulty Sliders and Cross-Play

Feel Free Games built in three difficulty modes: Cozy, Adventure, and Hero. Cozy skips combat unless you go looking for it, the other two turn the temperature up. There's no stamina meter and no inventory cap, which at least means the game isn't going to nag you about backpack space while you're trying to relax.

Multiplayer runs up to four players online, and the studio says it'll support cross-platform play across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So your friend on Steam and your cousin on Xbox can, in theory, all show up on the same island. Key details worth flagging:
